The Panasonic Lumix TZ10 is super zoom camera housing a 25mm ultra wide-angle lens, the camera possesses a optical zoom function that is capable of enlarging images up to 12 times and is capable of achieving a maximum zoom digitally of 23.4 times. The digital zoom function however reduces the quality of the image when it is at its maximum to only 3 mega-pixels.
The Panasonic TZ10 is capable of recording movies in 720p HD in the AVCHD setting; you can also record digital sound in this setting. In addition to the HD recording you can also record in SD using motion JPEG format which record at 30 frames per second and each frame has a resolution of 1280x720 pixels.
Intelligent resolution technology has been included within this model which allows the camera to automatically improve the quality of the photo without you having to click a button. The facility adjusts settings depending on: the amount of hand-shaking present; any faces within the frame; and the movement of the scene. All these features amount to the obtaining of a photo that is sharp and blur free.
Panasonic have included a GPS within the camera which allows for the storing of photos to be made with great ease. When a photo or video is saved the time, date and location of where the media has been taken is recorded. This means that during playback you can select the location and view all the pictures and videos taken at that place.
